Just finished my last bottle of Figeac 1982 - bought in futures. What a lovely experience and how depressing I can no longer afford the finest St.Emilion. A silky, classic wonder, wearing youthful dark robes yet as velvety as spring water! Remarkable fruit, long evolving finish. A marvel - looking forward to Figeac 85 and 89.
Hello Folks, I want to thank you for making such a beautiful 2000 Chateau Figeac. I opened a bottle tonight and it is everything one could want in a Right Bank Bordeaux - and still an infant. Salute!!Mike
I met Mr. Theirry Manoncourt almost 20 years ago when he was visiting San Francisco, a friendly, gregarious man who right away extended his invitation to visit his chateau in St.-Emilion. I finally, got a chance to visit Chateau Figeac two years ago and was warmly welcomed there.
We were there on a priviate tour off the cruise ship Oceania In sept 2010 and to say I loved your wine is a under statementThanks for the tour and the wine we bought Now wher can we buy more in the United States ? CValif for surePaul
We visited Chateau Figeac a few days ago and were impressed with this charming and legendary chateau. I really enjoyed the family cellar treasures, vat room and tasting the 2000 Figeac. A delicious wine with good depth. A great way to end our tour of St. Emilion on a beautiful sunny afternoon.Tres Bon!
